Meet powerful women in politics

Meet former Paralympian Tanni Grey-Thompson, now  a cross-bench member of the House of Lords, former MP Ann Cryer, probably best known for her campaigns against forced marriages, and the current speaker in the House of Lords Baroness D’Souza and learn how to follow them in laying down the law.

Women in Politics: Yes We Can! has been organised by the Parliamentary Outreach team to encourage women to consider  how they can get involved in politics, Parliament and campaigning.

Find out how you can raise important issues and hear from three experts with unrivalled experience of campaigning on behalf of women inside and out of Parliament. The event will take place on Friday 15th November – 10am to 12pm (registration from 9.30am) at City Training Services, 39-41 Chapel Street, Bradford BD1 5BY.
